D.I.Y. Beret

Project for a rainy Sunday afternoon:
Made with Shetland Spindrift, this light and classy felted beret will become a favorite in short order. Make one for yourself or a loved one and embellish it with a ribbon or leather lariat and you'll soon be a felting addict! 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Pattern Sizing: approx. 21" head circumference
Yardage Required: 230 yards of feltable fingering yarn

Gauge: 22 sts & 30 rows = 4" in St st on larger needles, before feltingPattern uses 16" circular 3.75mm/ US 5 and 4mm/ US 6 needles and a set of 4mm/ US 6 DPNs.

  1. Oh no, too late - the page is gone! I'm an enthusiastic Fair Isle knitter and use the Spendrift knitting wools all the time. I have a big stash of left-over skeins and I could have knitted up a lot of berets.
